CHC/LAD: No run first inning (NRFI) x1 unit

Good evening folks, apologies for the late email, but we will be back in action early tomorrow morning with a play for game two of the Tokyo series between the Cubs and Dodgers.

The books were quick to adjust to the player prop markets that we were able to take advantage of in game one, but we were able to find a play in tomorrow’s NRFI.

Justin Steele was great in the first inning last season, posting a scoreless frame in 18 of his 22 starts. We will look for him to attack the Dodgers lineup that might still be trying to get their timing down.

Roki Sasaki will counter on a mound he is familiar with. We are hoping his devastating splitter and blistering fastball will be enough to blank the Cubs in the first inning.

As is always with early season NRFI’s, we are banking on the pitchers being able to grasp their command. With Steele being one of the game’s most under valued command arms and Sasaki wanting to show out in his Dodgers debut, we will take a shot here.
