🚨🏈 CFL Week 2 best bets

Morning Folks,

We had a good start to the season with a no-sweat winner in our only Week 1 bet, now we’ll look to build on that this week.

With that, our best bet for Week 2:

Saskatchewan Roughriders/Hamilton Tiger-Cats over 51.0 × 1 unit

This game takes place Saturday, June 14 @ 6 p.m. CT

This is a duel between two of the best quarterbacks in the CFL. Trevor Harris and Bo-Levi Mitchell have been in the middle of some great battles over the years, and they are a big reason we will be backing the over here.

Harris and Mitchell have both been with their squads since 2023, but have only been healthy enough to face each other the last two times the Riders and Ti-Cats have squared off.

Those matchups produced 63 and 56 points, respectively.

The wily veterans are leading some high-powered offences once again this season, and a few keys figure to set up well for fireworks.

The first is the Ti-Cats’ porous defence, which was the club’s Achilles heel last season and allowed 38 points in the season-opener to what many believe is a less-than-stellar Stampeders offence.

The Riders’ defence figures to be strong this season, but even it was gashed through the air at home last week, allowing Redblacks QB Dru Brown to toss for 413 yards and two touchdowns.

Notable on the injury report is that Saskatchewan will return standout left tackle Jacob Brammer to the lineup, which should buy Harris a bit more time. Also, running back AJ Ouellette looks like he is already past the concussion that took him out of last week’s contest.

Weather forecasts as a bit cooler than normal, but nothing to be concerned about.

Let’s get another dub.

Good luck 🍀
